Recently, Jiangsu Changhong Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. and Dongfeng Vasol Truck Co., Ltd. officially signed an EPC general contracting contract for the assembly line of commercial vehicles. The project involves plant extension, utility power, construction of production line in assembly workshop and intelligent manufacturing system, etc.

Multiple new technologies of this project are initial in China, the successful application of non-contact power supply AGV in the main assembly line of commercial vehicles has improved the defects of current AGV power supply systems to a large extent. The automatic rotation of 12-ton frames and the automatic transfer of frames between three main lines have greatly reduced corporate operating costs and raised production efficiency. Intelligent informatization, digital simulation, virtual debugging, digital twin and other advanced technologies have created an advanced and intelligent workshop with transparent control for customers.

After the completion, the general cycle time of the production line will reach 20JPH, with the ability to rise to 25JPH. The line adapts to the production of a full range of more than 2,000 models for Dongfeng Vasol, including heavy, medium and light special vehicles, dumpers, trucks, tractors, new energy vehicles and other platforms, providing customers with highly flexible and efficient assembly lines of commercial vehicles.
